Last updated: October 30, 2026. These terms govern use of Psychiatry Watch. They should be read with our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer. They are not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal review.

Educational publication, not care

Articles explain health research and developments for a general audience. We do not diagnose, prescribe, provide emergency support or establish a clinician–patient relationship. Investigational treatments, off-label use and regulatory classifications differ by location. Do not begin, stop or change treatment based on an article.

Accuracy, updates and research limits

Research evolves. Reports may describe small studies, preclinical findings, provisional results or company announcements, with limitations stated in context. We aim to link reliable sources and correct material errors, but cannot guarantee completeness, uninterrupted access or that an older article reflects every later development. Publication dates are not evidence of clinical endorsement.

Intellectual property and reuse

Original publication content and branding are protected where applicable. Quoting short attributed excerpts with a link is welcome subject to applicable law. Republishing substantial material, impersonating the publication or removing ownership notices requires permission. Third-party material retains its owners' rights; citations do not transfer reuse rights.

Acceptable use and submissions

Do not attack the site, bypass access controls, send spam, submit unlawful material or impersonate another person. Do not include medical records or confidential third-party information in contact messages. Submissions may be used to respond and investigate editorial issues; no public publication of a private message is promised or implied.

Advertising and third parties

Advertising is separate from editorial judgment. Demonstration banners are examples of available inventory, not paid endorsements. External sites, services and source documents have independent terms. We do not guarantee their availability, suitability or claims.

Availability and liability

The site is provided for general information as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties not expressly required by law and are not responsible for decisions based solely on site content or third-party services. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. No arbitration provision or governing jurisdiction is asserted without owner/legal confirmation.
